I worked with a team of 6 mechanical engineering students to design and build an escape room with the theme "Sugarland". Our escape room, Jumbled Jelly Beans, includes a wall of jelly bean holds with different colors and shapes mounted to the wall. Players are required to hold on to the appropriate colored jelly bean based on the changing colors of the LED lights in the room. I was responsible to design and model the jelly bean holds. I also focused on the user-experience aspect of the room; selecting the appropriate colors, room dimension, mounting locations of the jelly bean holds, and overall game play.
