FUNdamentals of Design
In this course I designed, built, tested, and conducted experiments and compared results to predictions of modules that demonstrated FUNdaMENTAL principles. Topics include FUNdaMENTAL precision machine design principles, error apportionment & error budgeting, machine elements, mechanical connections & interfaces, power transmission, structures, selection of manufacturing methods and materials, and metrology. Considers each topic with respect to its principles of operation, mechanics and performance.
